Sad update on Tilly and Jack

Dear friends.....if we can ALL share JacknTilly Campbell chip-in post with the following update and pass on to as many friends as possible :

*URGENT* If every friend gave $2 this would be a lifeline to JacknTilly Campbell....they have no electricity, no heating and any food is spoiling and they found out yesterday having spent 2 days lining up at social services that their new housing isn't happening. There is a 3 year wait plus dogs aren't allowed.... Dot was told to surrender them to the pound and if she does this they will be PTS, the dogs are her lifeline and keep her going when she is ill. She can't even go to a shelter for a night because of them.......as well as monetary help if ANY of you live nearby and have a room or can think of any ideas not yet explored please post them on the board......lets all pull together like JacknTilly Campbell do for us and dig as deep as possible.......forego 1 Xmas gift or some Halloween treats....anything just to free up a few dollars.....

Both Tilly and Jack were rescued by Second chances Canine Program....they have their own FaceBook page...for more information, they are JacknTilly Campbell.....but here is a snapshot of them.
Tilly is a little sweetheart, she is very tender and laughing every minute. she is 1/2 Cattledog and 1/2 Back Lab.

She is cute, funny, and full of love. Jack is blind in his right eye and they found him as a stray going through dumpsters to find food. He was getting cabin fever for being a rescue for most his life...he was nearly two when Dot adopted him... he has such spirit and love to give. And his eye doesn't stop him although he play's fetch a bit differently to help him out being blind in 1 eye.

Tilly taught him how to walk up steps. Everyone who meets them says how loving and kind and sweet they are and well mannered. If they go to shelter they will be immediately put down. Some mistake Tilly for a pit bull and with Jack's blindness they would just put him down. Jack has the biggest smile in the world.. and if you just pet him once he is velcro to you. Very much a snuggler and Tilly is the kisser. they both are so fantastic and so loving and caring Dot feels truly blessed.
Sooooo they have come from a frightening and abusive relationship and have been tracked down before so all have new names.....Dot has to take medication for the effects of the beatings and are once again close to being kicked out by their landlord who has now cut off their utilities.

They still have their food stamps but are not allowed to use them for dog food and dog meds that Tilly n Jack need. When/if we can find them emergency housing Dot will look for part-time work as she does want to be independant and responsible for her little family.

They are tired, its been a long and hard journey and with this new ''kick'' Dot is soooo despondent and currently has no phone line so we cannot get in touch and are extremely worried for their well-being so ALL donations and help will really make a huge difference knowing there are people out there not just in another town but another country willing to not just donate but also be their friend.

For those that have donated we thank you so much as this enabled them to stay housed in October, this new fund was to cover their move but as above this has now been pulled out from under their feet so the chipin introduction is sadly null and void and this is an emergency plea to keep them from being made homeless and out on the streets as Dot would never have them taken to a shelter to be put to sleep.....as we all know..our dogs are our lifeline.

Please help.

Tilly n Jack....The next stage.......................

Dear friends,

Some of you will have read about our anipals Tilly n Jack and their mummy ''Dot'',......their story is real and upsetting so anything you can do to help them to their next stage in life will means so much to them. Even when they are down and scared as to how they are going to pay a bill or get dog food they are the most wonderful pals and Dot herself is the loveliest lady you could speak to.....everyone deserves a second chance don't they ?
Both Tilly and Jack were rescued by Second chances Canine Program....they have their own FaceBook page...for more information, they are JacknTilly Campbell.....but here is a snapshot of them.

Tilly is a little sweetheart, she is very tender and laughing every minute. she is 1/2 Cattledog and 1/2 Back Lab.

Sooooo they have come from a frightening and abusive relationship and have been tracked down before so all have new names.....Dot has to take medication for the effects of the beatings and were close to being kicked out by their landlord who had tricked them with the rental agreement but they can now move out and into assisted housing.......if you follow our chip-in link it tells you more about their update. They still have their food stamps but are not allowed to use them for dog food and dog meds that Tilly n Jack need. When they have moved to their new home Dot will look for part-time work as she does want to be independant and responsible for her little family so lets dig deap and help them on the next stage of their journey.
They are tired, its been a long and hard journey but they can now start to see light at the end of the tunnel and they know and appreciate they could not have gotten to this next stage without all of your help and we all send our heartfelt thanks for the donations and help given. They are still pinching themselves that there are people out there not just in another town but another country willing to not just donate but also be their friend.
For those that have donated we thank you so much as this enabled them to stay housed in October, this new fund is to cover their move to assisted housing along with medications & food for the dogs and their Mom .......... their new focus is moving and setting up a safe & secure home and their mom will then start to look for part-time work to become independant but is still recovering from her injuries and surgery due to her abuser so is still fragile but tenacious and each week makes steps on her own to gain her independance for herself and her dogs......Please help.

Tilly N Jack

Dear friends, this is a story about 2 of my anipals Tilly n Jack and their mummy ''Dot'', we have know them for a long time and have friends that have met them.........their story is real and is also so very sad but anything you can do to help them get back on their feet and paws would mean the world, Dot is even considering going back to her abuser as she really is at rock bottom, mummy and I have begged her not too hence why we want to help them all we can, they are wonderful furpals and Dot is the loveliest lady you could speak to.....everyone deserves a second chance dont they ?

Both Tilly and Jack were rescued by Second chances Canine Program....they have their own FaceBook page.. the rescue group takes in the pooches and then the pooches live 24/7 at Morio Correctional Facilty ( prison) with the inmates....they have a top notch trainer who comes in and the dogs are trained to perfection and some for special services, like diabetes dogs etc...then they adopt them out.

This helps the prisoners and the dogs. I doon't know if you have read about this sort of program and how it has really turned around the animals and the prisoners lives. It teaches the prisoners things they never knew... like how to take care of of someone , be responsible, how to love... and so on.. Momma met Tilly and Jack the same day but she was afraid if she brought us both back home he would kill us all and did eventually try to kill Tilly and Jack...that was when we ran and escaped but months before we left Momma wasn't able to get Jack off her mind. He grabbed her heart too... so she went back 6 months later and got Jack (took much time and missing car payments to get him)... Tilly is a little sweetherart, she is very tender and laughing and a laff a minute. she is 1/2 Cattledog and 1/ Back Lab.

She is cute, funny, and full of love. Jack is blnd in his right eye and they found him as a stray going thru dumpsters to find food. He was getting cabin fever for being a rescue for most his life...he was nearly two when Moma adopted him... he has such spirit and love to give. And his eye doesn't stop him althogh we play fetch a bit different to help him out being blind on 1 eye.

Tilly taught him how to walk up steps. Everyone who meets them says how loving and kind and sweet they are and well mannered. If they go to shelter they will be immediately put down. Some mistake Tilly for a pit bull and with Jack's blindness they would just put him down. Also, and he hasn't done this since we adopted him... when he is excited or happy he talks... but it comes out as this cute growl,  so some get afraid of him.. but Momma lubs it! He has started doing it againi the last couple days.. he is feeding off Momma's vibes. He is extremely loyal... and he and Tilly are so good, they never do anything to get in trouble except maybe get a bit too happy barking at things.. but they hardly bark they aren't barkers.. and every once in a while Momma has to slow them down a tad wwen they are playing.. that's just to protect either of them or whether they could knock something over... which rarely happens. It's just Momma being worried! Jack has the biggest smile in the world.. and if you just pet him once he is velcro to you. Very much a snuggler and Tilly is the kisser. they both are so fantastic and so loving and caring I am truly blessed. xoxoxoxo

Sooooo I have come from a very frightening and abusive relationship and am on the run, he has tracked me down before so I put another state on my facebook profile and we all have new names......I have to take medication for the effects of the beatings and we are close to be kicked out by our landlord who has tricked us with the rental agreement.......if you follow our chip-in link it tells you more about our situation and we have been blessed with donations where we are nearly halfway to meeting our rent.....we have food stamps but we are not allowed to use them for dog food and mediactions Tilly n Jack need so any help would mean we can have a real start at a second chance.....I am looking for work and have tried to find a womans shelter but they won't take Tilly N Jack who would both be taken to a shelter and destroyed as Tilly looks like she has pitbull in her and Jack is blind in one eye..........Leigh & Cosmo have very generously put my story on here and has helped us with chip-in, we are down but not out and send our heartfelt thanks for any help & support you can give.....here are the chip-in details and explains a bit more why we need help.

NB: PLEASE NOTE, when you visit the chip-in fund you will notice it has nearly achieved its target, this is to cover rent/utilities/medications for the dogs and their Mom for October only and we really need to focus now on November so panic and fear doesn't set in with Dot who is still extremely fragile. Thanks soooo much.
